Six systems for the certified LOT

ADOPOTATO LLC designs every layer of the seed potato data chain for growers, shippers and certification agencies. Each engagement is built around your existing crew and your existing equipment. Request a build estimate

What we build, one label at a time

Each service below stands on its own, and each one joins the others when a client grows into the full platform. We document interfaces openly so your systems talk to ours without lock-in.

A

Seed Lot Certification Data Platforms

The certification platform is the registry of record for every seed lot your operation touches. We open a digital lot dossier at the moment stock is registered, then let inspectors record varietal purity, sizing fraction, defect counts and disease findings against that dossier from any device in any shed. The platform enforces your agency rules at entry, so a form cannot be closed with a missing test or an unsigned inspection. Growers and shippers see a read-only view of the same record, which removes the phone calls that once chased paperwork between offices. Because every action is stamped and stored, the certified status of a lot can be reconstructed years later for a buyer, a regulator or an insurer.

C

Cold Storage Sensor Network Integration

A seed potato store is a slow machine that must not drift. We survey your store, choose probe positions that represent the real air and pile conditions, and wire the sensors into one telemetry layer. That layer raises alarms on the phones of the people who can act, escalates if an alarm is ignored, and keeps a defensible time series for every chamber. When a buyer or an insurer asks how a lot was held, you produce the curve rather than a memory. Our integration work also covers humidification, ventilation and door controls, so a store manager can see the whole room on one page and intervene before a warm pocket becomes a loss.

D

Grading Line Automation Software

Graders, sizers, optical sorters and conveyors arrive from different makers, and each one keeps its own count. Our grading line software listens to the equipment you already own, binds its tallies to the lot flowing past, and produces one reconciled grade sheet at the end of the shift. Operators get a touch screen that works with gloves and reports faults in plain words. Managers get throughput, rejection and downtime views by line and by hour, which turns a noisy afternoon into a clear picture of where the line lost time. We build the software to survive a network outage, queuing readings locally and reconciling them the moment the link returns.

F

Field Trial Data Dashboards

Field trials generate dense, repetitive measurements that reward careful tooling. We build dashboards that gather plot weights, plant counts, vigour scores and disease ratings into structured sets, then render yield and quality comparisons by variety, site and season. Agronomists can pull two years of one clone into a single view, annotate an outlier with a note, and export a clean plate for a grower meeting or a breeder review. The dashboards also track trial provenance, so a surprising result can be traced to the exact plot plan and the person who recorded it. This service suits breeding programmes, seed companies and agencies that run multi-site variety trials.

G

Traceability and Audit Reporting Systems

Traceability begins in the field and ends at the freight signature, and every stop between must be stitched without a seam. We design the lot identity, the transfer events and the evidence model that hold a chain together, then build the audit reports your buyers and regulators expect. A single query returns the field block, the treatment history, the storage curve, the grade result and the shipping documents for one pallet. We also prepare the recurring reports that certification and food safety schemes require, so audit season becomes a scheduled task rather than a scramble. Where a client ships across borders, the system carries the documentation each destination demands.

K

Agronomy Portal Development

Agronomists live between the field and the spreadsheet, and a good portal removes the gap. We build a workspace that captures scouting notes, spray and nutrition decisions, store readings and grower questions in one place, tagged to field and lot. Summaries then flow outward automatically, so a grower receives a clear weekly picture without an agronomist retyping anything. The portal keeps a private channel for sensitive advice and a shared channel for records that must travel with the crop. We tailor the interface to the phone and tablet your team already carries, which keeps adoption high through the busiest weeks of the season.

How an engagement runs

Every build passes through five stages. The first is a listening week, when we sit with your inspectors, store staff and agronomists and map how work actually flows. The second is a design brief that fixes scope, interfaces and success measures in writing. The third is the build itself, delivered in short cycles so you see working screens early. The fourth is integration, where we connect your existing sensors and equipment and prove the data end to end. The fifth is handover, where we train your crew, document every interface and remain available for support.

We keep the same engineer on a build from brief to handover, because continuity is the cheapest quality control there is. You will always know who to call, and that person will already know your line, your store and your records.

What every handover includes

Each system leaves our studio with an interface document, an operations guide written in plain language, a training session for your staff and a support plan that fits your season. We do not hide the data model behind a proprietary wall, and we do not require you to buy sensors from us. If you later choose another vendor for a single component, the platform is built to accept it.

Our aim is simple. When we leave, your own team should be able to run the system through a full certification cycle without us in the room.

Tell us which label above matters most this season, and our studio will shape a build around it. Call +16814621367, or write to hello@adopotato.buzz and we will arrange a listening week.
