ADOPOTATO LLC seed technology studio

Computer integrated systems design for the seed potato trade

Label the lot, eye the tuber, then ship the CHIT

ADOPOTATO LLC is a Salt Lake City seed technology studio at 248 E Hubbard Ave, building the data spine that certifies seed lots, watches cold storage and proves every pallet on arrival. We wire your chitting trays, your grader and your grower portals into one dependable record. Our teams work beside certification inspectors all season so the numbers travel with the tubers. Six services hung from the studio rail

Every label below hangs from its own clip at its own height, the way a seed room keeps its variety marks. ADOPOTATO LLC builds each of these as a standing system, handed over with documentation and training for your own crew.

A

Seed Lot Certification Data Platforms

We build the shared registry where every seed lot is opened, graded and sealed with a permanent identity. Inspectors record varietal purity, size fraction and disease findings on screened forms that write straight into the lot record, and growers see the same page the certification agency sees, minute for minute. See how the certification platform works

C

Cold Storage Sensor Network Integration

A seed potato store lives or dies by its temperature curve, so we place calibrated probes through your pile and bind them to one live dashboard. Alarms escalate to the right phone before a warm pocket spreads, and the full curve is stored as evidence for the lot it protected. Read about cold storage integration

D

Grading Line Automation Software

Graders, sizers and optical sorters speak different dialects, and our software teaches them one language. Weight, count and defect tallies bind to the lot as it moves, and the line reports itself without a single paper tally sheet. Explore grading line automation

F

Field Trial Data Dashboards

Trial plots generate more numbers than any notebook can carry, so we turn them into clean yield and vigour views arranged by variety, site and season. Agronomists can compare two years of a single clone in one glance and export the plate straight into a grower meeting. Visit the field trial dashboards

G

Traceability and Audit Reporting Systems

When a buyer asks where a pallet came from, the answer should take seconds, not a morning. We stitch field, store, grader and freight records into one chain so an audit pulls a complete history with every test, treatment and transfer attached. Understand traceability reporting

K

Agronomy Portal Development

Your agronomists deserve a workspace shaped around their actual week, not a generic form. We build portals that gather scouting notes, spray decisions and store readings in one place, then push the right summary to the right grower without a single duplicated entry. Open the agronomy portal brief

ADOPOTATO LLC opens its autumn certification window for seed growers, shippers and agencies across the intermountain west, and our studio takes a limited number of platform builds each season.

Why a seed room needs a data spine

Seed potatoes carry a long promise. A grower plants certified stock in spring and trusts that the tubers were inspected, stored and graded honestly the season before. That trust rests on records, and records fail when they live in a paper folder, a truck console and three separate spreadsheets. ADOPOTATO LLC exists to give the seed potato trade one continuous record, so a lot can be followed from the field trial that produced it to the pallet that leaves the dock.

We are a computer integrated systems design studio, which means we do not sell a single shrink-wrapped product. We study how your inspectors, store staff and agronomists already work, then build the software, sensors and portals that fit those habits. The work starts with a listening week at your site, continues through a documented build, and ends with training your own crew to run the system without us.

Built for the people who hold the tuber

A grading line operator should be able to log a defect in two taps while wearing gloves. A store manager should see a warm pocket forming as a colour change, not a table of raw numbers. An inspector should sign a lot without printing a ream of forms. We test every screen against those moments, and we refuse features that add work without adding certainty.

Because the seed trade runs on tight windows, our systems are built to keep recording when the network drops, then reconcile the moment it returns. Nothing is lost at the busiest hour, and the audit trail remains whole. That reliability is the quiet centre of every platform we hand over.

From the first field trial note to the last freight signature, ADOPOTATO LLC keeps the lot and the data moving together. Call our studio at +16814621367 to discuss a build, or write to hello@adopotato.buzz and we will reply within one working day.

A studio shaped by the seed season

Our work follows the rhythm of the potato year. In late winter we prepare certification platforms for the coming inspections, so that a grower can register a lot and an agency can open its forms before the first seed moves. Through spring and summer we build and refine the field trial dashboards that carry a breeder through a busy trial programme. In autumn we stand beside clients during the certification window, watching the store telemetry and the grading line software under real load. In the quiet months we debrief, improve the interfaces and train the next group of users.

That calendar keeps us honest. A feature that only works in a calm office is of little use in a busy shed, so we test every screen against the pressure of an actual season. We also keep our client list deliberately small, because a studio that spans too many projects cannot hold the detail that a certification platform demands. ADOPOTATO LLC would rather do fewer builds well than many builds poorly.
